I have had mornings where I woke up late because I failed to set my alarm. I have had days where I woke to go to school and my truck failed to start. I have had days when I arrived in my classroom and the internet failed to launch. I have even had days where I showed up for an early tee time feeling so good about my golf game, but my golf game apparently failed to have its morning coffee! (IYKYK)

But I have NEVER started a day where God’s love, mercy and faithfulness was not waiting to greet me with a hearty “Good morning!”

And neither have you.

IF I wanted to watch Bad Bunny, I had a choice. No one makes it for me.

IF I wanted to watch Kid Rock, I had a choice. No one makes it for me.

IF I want to vote for a liberal, I have a choice. No one will make it for me.

IF I want to vote for a conservative, I have a choice. No one will make it for me.

If I want to hate, I make that choice. No one is going to make it for me.

IF I want to love, I make that choice. No one is going to make it for me.

Choices.

I have a choice.

I choose Jesus. And that makes every choice, much simpler.

Are you happy? Do you find happiness in the activities of life? A lot of us do. But what happens when, for example, that relationship that brought the feeling of happiness erodes? What happens when that “activity” that made you feel so full and good, actually ends up leaving you feeling empty inside? The happiness turns to sadness or bitterness. Yet, that’s the worldly life we live! Now, here’s a different question; do you have joy in your soul? Ah, that’s a different matter altogether! Joy of the soul gives you a foundation so that no one can tamper with. Because the source is not the relationship or the activity, the source is from the One who created you with a soul. The idea of an honest, open discussion and debate seems to be a lost art. I know it is not as a lot of us participate in such discussions, but the television and political cultures paint a different picture (at least to me it does.) Essentially there may come a time, when I may need to cede to better logic than my own; hence the ability to have a heart open to other views. God is asking us to open our heart to reason, meaning to settle the matter or to accept His invitation to reconcile. God is not asking us to consider IF He can make our sins white as snow, but to recognize it is a done matter – He CAN make our sins white as snow! Thus, as most of us our in our homes looking at the snow falling (as of this writing) thank God that through Jesus, our sins can be forgiven. Love & peace my friends…Stevo

What if I told you there was a way to feel protected, even if imminent danger was all around you? What if I told you that if you were to lose all your material wealth, you could still know you are worth more than your weight in gold? What if I told you that regardless of the shame your past represents, you could still be restored to dignity? 

My words to you, my dear friends, is that Jehovah God is the path to a secured, valued and rejuvenated life!

Let God be your shield. (Hebrews 13:6)

Let God be your glory. (Ephesians 1:7)

Let God be the lifter of your head. (Isaiah 40:28-31)

There are times in life when we come to the crossroads of life and the decision we make will have implications and consequences if not chosen correctly. Where do you turn for advice? The Psalmist looked up, analyzed the situation and logically determined that to seek the LORD’s counsel was the wisest choice. He knows us better than we know ourselves.
