Our Worship Service

Our worship is centered on God’s Word. You can expect

Prayers and Scripture

Prayers will be said toward the beginning of our service and then to end our worship.
Scripture will be read before the lesson is presented.
A sermon will be presented from God’s word.

Acapella Music

A unique aspect of our worship that typically sticks out is our form of music is
acapella. We base our decision for this type of music from various scriptures concerning the church, (Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16.) But also there is the beauty of reflecting on the lyrics as we lift up our voices in unison to His glory and our edification. If you are comfortable, please join in.

Lord's Supper

We observe every first day of the week a memorial to Jesus called Communion or more commonly, the Lord’s Supper. Again, we observe this based on scriptures that pertain to this memorial (Matthew 26:26-29; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:17-18; 23- 26.) The observance includes unleavened bread (symbolizing the body of Jesus) and fruit of the vine (symbolizing the blood of Jesus.)

Offering

Offering baskets will be passed from row to row following a prayer. Do you have to give? NO! Members will contribute as they see fit (1 Corinthains 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:7) but as our guest please know you are under no obligation to give.
